PERSONAL
Detria Devone “Demi” Lovato atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama Lovato adalah seorang artis, penyanyi, dan pencipta lagu Amerika yang lahir di Dallas, Texas pada tanggal 20 Agustus 1992. Orang tuanya adalah Patrick Lovato dan Dianna Hart De La Garza. Lovato adalah keturunan Mexico, Irlandia, dan Italia. Dia mulai bermain piano sejak berumur tujuh tahun.

KARIR MUSIK
2007-2008
Lovato menyanyikan lagu That’s How To Know yang merupakan salah satu lagu dalam film ENCHANTED yang dirilis 20 Mei 2008. Album debutnya yang berjudul Don’t Forgetdan soudtrack film DISNEY CHANEL ORIGINAL MOVIE: CAMP ROCK juga dirilis tahun ini. Dia menyanyikan 4 lagu diantaranya This is Me yang ia nyanyikan berduet dengan Joe Jonas.

2008-2009
Album pertama Lovato, Don’t Forget terjual hingga 89.000 copy diminggu pertamanya dan terjual lebih dari 473.000 copy di Amerika. Lagunya yang berjudul Get Back mencapai #43 di Hot 100. Bulan Desember 2008, lagunya yang berjudul La La Land dirilis dan mencapai #42 di Hot 100. Single ketiga yang berjudul Don’t Forget mencapai #41 dan menjadi single tersuksesnya saat itu. Tahun 2009, Lovato melakukan rekaman untuk lagu One and the Same dan berduet dengan Gomez. Album kedua Lovato yang berjudulHere We Go Again dirilis 21 Juli 2009 dan menjadi nomer satu di Billboard 200. Album ini lebih terinspirasi oleh musik akustik. Lagu Here We Go Again juga menjadi album pop terbaik dari Allmusic.

2010-Sekarang
Album Here We Go menjadi nominasi dalam 3 Teen Choice Award dan Lovato sebagai Choice Music Breakthrough Artis. Juli 2010 album ketiganya mulai dikerjakan. Kali ini lagu-laguya kembali beraliran pop tapi lebih ke R&B. Di album ini Lovato meulis lagu berbahasa Spanyol. Albumnya akan dirilis pada 2011.

KARIR SEBAGAI ARTIS
Lovato memulai karirnya sebagai seorang artis pada usia 7 tahun, dalam serial televisiBARNEY AND FRIENDS sebagai Angela. Tahun 2006, ia bermain dalam film PRISON BREAK sebagai Danielle Curtin. Dia juga bermain dalam sitkom JUST JORDAN sebagaiNicole. Lovato juga bermain dalam beberapa film lain seperti CAMP ROCK (2008),PRICESS PROTECTION PROGAM (2009),SONNIE WITH A CHANCE (2009), dan THE FINAL JAM (2009).
